The AMT was established in 1966 to promote Massage Therapy to the public as a valid health service. The AMT is a national not-for-profit association that represents practising Massage Therapists. The organisation works to have massage recognised as a health service, to promote standards and professionalism in the industry.

The AMT also offers a referral service to members of the public who are looking for a professional and qualified therapist. The website includes a list of questions you can ask your therapist before you book an appointment.
